Exercise Questions
To round out your mindfulness education, here are some questions you may ask yourself and answer at the end of an exercise:
- What did you notice as you did the exercise?
- Were you more involved in following the exercise or more involved in wandering away? Use the words “I’m noticing” in your response (for example, “I’m noticing I was more involved in following the exercise”).
- Are you feeling better, about the same, or worse now? Use the words “I’m noticing” in your response (for example, “I’m noticing I’m feeling better”).
- What did you learn from doing the exercise?
